Meta Aerospace

Meta Aerospace ('Meta') in Summary

Meta is an integrated aerospace capabilities platform founded on the idea that governments could benefit from the de-risking that comes with capabilities that only have time-limited, contingent commitments associated with them, and from the private capital that a uniquely executed set of strategies can attract to the specialty aviation – aerospace industry.

With offices in USA, United Kingdom, and Ireland, Meta Aerospace is a unique team of close to 500 people that brings together unparalleled expertise and thought leadership from the aerospace, military, government service and finance communities, and deep expertise in their chosen domains.

Tiered Services Model

The company's services start with Aerospace Financing & Leasing (Level 1)—helping operators acquire capabilities they could not afford to buy, enabling aircraft manufacturers to reach customers who otherwise could not access their products, helping agencies and businesses solve complex problems without being restricted by capital constraints.

Meta's services further extend into Aerospace Engineering (Level 2), Flight Operations (Level 3), and Mission Applications (Level 4), allowing our customers the option to completely outsource their aerospace requirements to Meta.

Our Approach

Meta follows a mission-focused and platform-agnostic strategy of investing in the SMA space. Key to the company’s unique proposition to customers is that Meta rigorously develops, analyses and assesses the appropriate concepts of operations, concepts of employment and suitability of a given aircraft type and its configuration for its intended mission, as well as its compatibility with the customer’s operational and financial capabilities.

More importantly however, Meta invests and retains capital and operational exposure in the projects that it designs or is asked to participate in by government customers.

Group Companies & Affiliates

Meta's portfolio consists of Elix Aviation Capital, a leading turboprop aircraft lessor and one of the fastest-growing companies in its industry; and Meta Special Aerospace (parent of Commuter Air Technology and Valair Aviation), a full-service, Special Mission Aviation (SMA) company that specializes in integrated solutions for the Global ISR market and provides modernization, upgrade, sustainment, maintenance and logistics support for a wide variety of aircraft and ground systems.
